Cape Town Beer Festival 2019

The largest festival of beer in the southern hemisphere, promising more ales, pilsners and lagers than ever at the Green Point stadium from 29 November – 1 December 2019.

Now in its 10th year, the Cape Town Festival of Beer (CTFOB) celebrates brewing heritage and craft, featuring over 200 beers and fermented beverages from a host of breweries, with limited-edition brews that have been specially brewed just for the festival! Whether you’re a beer newbie, connoisseur or just keen on sharing a few cold ones with your mates, this festival is for you.

Aside from the bountiful supply of brew, here are other highlights to look forward to at the festival:

• over 15 local and artisanal pop-up restaurants and food trucks
• comedians, DJs and live music performances from a host of bands, including South Africa’s premier party band, Me & Mr Green
• delicious brews from CBC, Old Potters Inn, Jack Black and Darling Breweries
• refreshing Swedish-made Rekorderlig Cider (strawberry or lime flavour) and Loxtonia ciders (winners of the 2018 cider category) for those who prefer something besides beer
