Cape Town Beer Festival 2019

Now in its 10th year, the Cape Town Festival of Beer (CTFOB) celebrates brewing heritage and craft, featuring over 200 beers and fermented beverages from a host of breweries, with limited-edition brews that have been specially brewed just for the festival! Whether you’re a beer newbie, connoisseur or just keen on sharing a few cold ones with your mates, this festival is for you.
Aside from the bountiful supply of brew, here are other highlights to look forward to at the festival:
- over 15 local and artisanal pop-up restaurants and food trucks
- comedians, DJs and live music performances from a host of bands, including South Africa’s premier party band, Me & Mr Green
- delicious brews from CBC, Old Potters Inn, Jack Black and Darling Breweries
- refreshing Swedish-made Rekorderlig Cider (strawberry or lime flavour) and Loxtonia ciders (winners of the 2018 cider category) for those who prefer something besides beer
